Ben's Bar Mitzvah Project

For my Bar Mitzvah service project, I'm supporting Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, an organization where our family adopted two of our awesome, sweet dogs - Austin and Della. Sorry Ginny, you weren't adopted from here! 

I've always had a deep love for animals, so this cause is close to my heart.  My Torah portion, Noah, tells the story of caring for animals during a time of crisis--something that connects beautifully to the mission of Homeward Trails, which helps rescue and rehome animals in need. 

My project has three components to it, and I'm hoping you'll consider participating in each one!

1. Supply Drive! 3. Adoption Event! I am helping to coordinate an adoption event at our synagogue on Sunday, October 26th at 11:00am.  Please consider attending and helping me convince my parents that we need another dog.  Also, look around for a new friend for yourself!
