LifeSource's mission is to give people in need a hand up not just a handout, by providing not only food, but free clothing, childcare, adult education, and senior lunches.
The Kid's Life Summer Day Camp has become a vital resource for the parents facing financial hardships. Skyrocketing childcare costs have made it very difficult for parents to find a safe and nurturing place to send their kids while they work.
I have with the kids attending our Summer Day Camp for the last 20 years and I have seen firsthand the impact this program has on them. In fact, many of the kids I have worked with are now adults with children of their own. Whenever I cross paths with one of them, they recount their days at camp and credit it for making them the person they are today which warms my heart.
Please help us shower this next generation of campers with the same blessings - any gift you give, no matter the size, will have double the impact due to our matching grant.
