In January 2024 Carla Jones was rushed to Ballad Health Bristol Memorial Hospital where she was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver. Her ammonia levels where high, she had gastrointestinal bleeds and over the course of the next few months her liver failed. She has been in the hospital more than out since then. She went to Vanderbilt Transplant clinic in early February for transplant intake. There they found out her kidneys were not functioning and sent her to the emergency room in Bristol the following day. She was admitted and stabilized. On February 20, 2024 they sent her to Vanderbilt via med flight because they could not do anything else for her in Bristol. There she began the transplant evaluation and was placed on the liver transplant list on March 2, 2024. She has great family support. Her husband and son are the loves of her life. She wants to live to see her son married and have children. We covet your prayers during this journey to a new life for Carla. Our prayer is that you will pray and donate as God leads you to.
