LifeSource gives families in need a hand up not just a handout, by providing not only food, but free clothing, childcare, adult education, and senior lunches.  

The Kid's Life Summer Day Camp has become a beacon of hope for parents not only struggling to keep food on the table but also trying to keep pace with rising childcare costs.  Summer camp is a fun, safe, educational environment where they can send their kids while their at work.

I have worked with the Kid's Life Summer Day Camp program for 5 years. Most of these kids would either be left with relatives or at home alone to fend for themselves if this program was not available. This means they would be spending endless hours in front of screens either playing or watching videos. In addition, food may be scarce and/or lacking nutritional value.   At LifeSource, not only do we provide them with breakfast, lunch and 2 nutritional snacks, we also strive to teach them how to navigate successfully through life (team building, character building, gardening, health & nutrition, etc) and break the cycle of poverty.
