Heart for Guatemala Library Project

We are seeking contributions to develop a library for a school in Antigua, Guatemala for underprivileged children.  We hope to collect books in both Spanish and English and to facilitate the hiring of a school librarian.  The space is already allocated for the library within the school.  A trip is planned to deliver and help organize the library in late January - early February, 2023.  A second trip to Antigua is planned for the end of our Rotary year to deliver more books and to hold an event at the school with refreshments as children select their own books.  We hope this will be the start of a book exchange tradition,  We currently have four club members out of 60 international members residing in Antigua who will be instrumental in facilitating this project.  Be a part of their hope for a brighter future and support the students from Escuela Integrada and Escuela Las Delicias
