The Middle Way Initiative 2024 Donor Campaign

Dear Friends,

I am writing to you with a warm heart of gratitude for your support in 2024. Thank you all so very much for your support in many forms: from financial contributions, to volunteering, to listening to my podcast, and engaging with my teachings, to your prayers, dharma study, and practice.

My teaching theme this year has been “Faith Beyond Belief and Doubt”. I find that the richness of this inquiry has not diminished since I wrote about it in my 2018 book The Logic of Faith. If anything, I find it has become an even more important inquiry!

I am excited to let you know that we are offering a beautiful premium quality print of Matthieu Ricard’s photograph “In Meditation” for our Donor Campaign, which runs through December 31st. Our random drawing also includes two copies of his book Notebooks of a Wandering Monk. You will be eligible for the drawing if during 2024 you give, or have given, a cumulative amount of $108 or more in 2024, Please check out our new Brazil webpages.

From podcasts to teachings, 2024 has been a great year for MWI. Our many dedicated volunteers, our Brazilian audience, and our Portuguese translators are a big part of the success of The Middle Way Initiative. Our translators provide Portuguese simulcast translation for our live events and recordings, for the Brazil Study Group, and for collaborative teachings with Paz e Mente Brazil. For podcasts, we provide English and Portuguese transcripts. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback about the value of having access to the teachings in both languages. Please check out our new Brazil webpages to read some history and meet the team!

If you are inspired by our work, please consider showing your support by donating below. Please know that any donation amount is welcome and appreciated.

Join in the fun of celebrating The Middle Way Initiative through our donor campaign and the tradition of our drawing for a beautiful art print. See images of our happy past winners below!

Love,

Elizabeth
