First Tech Fund is in year three and we're working with our biggest cohort ever - 100 students from all over NYC!
It's only been three months since we kicked off the program and we've seen massive wins for our students + alumni
- Tahya from Queens has advanced to the interview round of the Futures and Options Internship Program
- Nusrath from the Bronx was accepted to the Miseducation Internship Program for audio journalism and multimedia storytelling
- FIVE of our students, two from Queens and Two from Manhattan as well as one Staten Island student have been selected as Questbridge Match Finalists!
- Gabrielle (Brooklyn) joined the Grip Tape Learning Challenge
- Rasul (Brooklyn) and Obianuju (Bronx) accepted to Google Code Next
Thanks to the technology, broadband, skills training and support offered by First Tech Fund, we've been able to help students with college applications, scholarships, school assignments, and more.
We're looking to raise $20,000 funding for graduation for our students in 2023, for summer interns in 2023, and for an emergency fund for our college-aged alumni students.
