Ten years ago, a small group of neighbors and advocates came together to address a glaring truth: the people of Miami-Dade deserve, and need, better transit. Out of that spark, Transit Alliance Miami was born. 

As a proud Board member, I'm so excited to support Transit Alliance this Give Miami Day, and I'd love for you to join me! This year's Give Miami Day is extra special for Transit Alliance — it marks our 10-year anniversary of working toward a city that's easier, fairer, and safer to move around, for everyone.

In the last decade, Transit Alliance has: 

• Saved daily riders $325 annually by keeping fares affordable!
• Redesigned our bus network with community input, for the first time in 40 years!
• Restored over $15 million in crucial transit funding
• Curbed fare increases to keep transit accessible
• Passed state parking reform to boost affordable housing
• Successfully advocated for Rapid Transit Zones for people-centered growth
