LHS New Shelter Capital Campaign

Lakeshore Humane Society, Inc. has provided care and shelter to thousands of dogs and cats since 1976. However, we are at a critical point in our history as our old facility can no longer be remodeled to meet our growing need for space. It is urgent that we build a safe and efficient facility to care for the pets we are trying to save while finding them a forever family. The new facility will allow our staff and volunteers to continue to provide the love and care all animals deserve. It will also allow potential pet parents to meet their future family members in a welcoming and warm environment. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we must rely on the generosity of individuals, business, foundations and community partners for support of this necessary but expensive undertaking. LHS is excited to invite donors who wish to be a part of building the new shelter to invest in our care of the community’s most vulnerable pets. You can help further our mission to aid, advocate and adopt to enrich the lives of companion animals by giving to our capital campaign.
