Help Madalena Build A Better World: Ecuador 2027

Please help me Build a Better World by supporting my work with Builders Beyond Borders (B3) a non-profit organization that engages high schools students in local and global community service projects.

Community service is at the heart of the  (B3) program. With a focus on personal development through community service, we work side by side with community partners both locally in Connecticut and in Latin America. In February 2027 we will travel to Ecuador to work with a community in need. We will live and work alongside their host community  to build sustainable facilities that address the needs of the community.

     To make this mission possible, I’m fundraising to cover the costs of travel, lodging, project materials, and donations to the communities we’ll be working with.

 Every dollar goes directly toward making this trip impactful and meaningful—for me, and for the people we serve.

In 2026 we traveled  to Balanya, Guatemala and helped to build a preschool (photos below).  It was a terrific experience and the community was so kind and grateful. Can't wait to continue this work in Ecuador 2027!
