Thank you to everyone, we're miss in Tennessee.
Hello everyone!
I hope you all had a great Holiday season so far. I wanted to thank everyone who has donated so far and appreciate all the work a lot of you are doing to help me. I couldn't do this without all of you.
We're in Brentwood, TN now. We're waiting for my new insurance to kick in on the 1st. I've seen a few doctors already and I'm working hard on keeping my heart strong. I am looking to join a gym on the first but at home I got some used dumbbells, a broken recumbent bike I found and some other things to rehab with.
We plan on making a video soon, likely after the 13th. I have appointments I want to finish up first to give people a better update.
We're about 15k away from the goal but most of all we're 10K closer to the goal thanks to everyone! I really appreciate your kindness and generosity. Hopefully we can get there over time.
Please share and donate when you have a chance to. We haven't used any of the money yet. We're waiting until it's necessary plus all the money is only for the transplant. So the move was not covered.
If you want to donate in other ways. My app names are.

Michael O’Brien
Transplant Type: Heart
What if you were living on borrowed time?
Michael O’Brien is fighting for his life. From birth, he has suffered from a complex heart defect which has left him with a single ventricle and one functioning lung. He has had to undergo many surgeries as a result. Recently, his health unexpectedly took a turn for the worse, and he is now experiencing end stage heart and liver failure. Doctors say a heart transplant is critical for his survival.
During such a challenging time, Michael is thankful for his family and friends. He wishes they did not have to be so concerned about his health, but he is grateful for their love and support. Before his health began to decline, he enjoyed spending time with family, swimming, and working towards his goal of becoming a pediatric nurse focused on cardiology, but these days, his activities are quite limited. He looks forward to the transplant that will allow him to be healthy enough to spend many more years making memories with his family, but right now, he needs your help.
Unfortunately, Michael’s hope for a new life comes at a very high price.
The average heart transplant costs more than $1 million. And that is only the beginning. Even with health insurance, which will cover a portion of the cost of his transplant, he faces significant expenses related to the surgery. For the rest of his life, he will need follow-up care and daily anti-rejection medications. Post-transplant medications are very expensive, and they are as critical to his survival as the transplant itself.
Because Michael must travel a long distance from his home to the transplant center for evaluations and doctors’ appointments, he incurs substantial expenses for each trip. When he receives his transplant, Michael will have to stay near the hospital during recovery, adding to the financial strain.
You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to the National Foundation for Transplants in honor of Michael.
If you'd prefer to send your gift by mail, please send it to the National Foundation for Transplants, 3249 W. Sarazen’s Circle, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38125. Please be sure to write "in honor of Michael O’Brien” in the memo line.
Thank you for your generosity!
