Aspen McCoy is a 2024 NAABB Midwifery Scholarship Recipient. A $10,000 scholarship helped defray costs associated with her midwifery education.
Did you know that National Association to Advance Black Birth (NAABB) provided over $80,000 in scholarships to Black midwifery students in 2023 and 2024! We are committed to assisting in the removal of financial and associated barriers to midwifery education. We could not do this work without you and we are truly grateful for your partnership and support!
Give Today. Make a one-time donation or set up a recurring donation to give throughout the year! You can be a vital part of our journey by supporting our #GivingTuesday campaign. A donation of any size from you, even just $10, can make a significant difference in strengthening our mission.
This year, we’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $5,000 on Giving Tuesday and your support is critical in helping us get there. Early donations are now open, and every contribution, even before the big day, counts toward our #GivingTuesday goals.
Contemporary Black midwives continue a proud and significant legacy of community care. They are developing innovative models of care, providing culturally-sensitive care, and working towards birth justice. At NAABB we believe that every Black birthing person has the right to a provider that looks like them. We NEED more Black midwives.
Your gift to NAABB today is more than just a gift to one nonprofit organization. It's a gift to future Black midwives committed to serving their communities, building power, and striving towards justice. Thank you!
