Rodenticide consumed by rats and then again by birds of prey kills entire families of eagles, owls and hawks. The EPA opens reviews and takes public comment only every 15 years. Attached to our comments we will include necropsies as solid scientific evidence of the problem. Necropsies, supplies, shipping, and testing are extremely expensive. It can cost from $300-$100. Data collected is "Silent Spring II" data as rodenticide is this centuries DDT.
If key advocates have an opportunity to speak at public hearings nationally funds collected will also enable the voices of our birds to be heard there.
