CURED 2018 NEAW All Hands In- Reaching for a Cure

Chris was diagnosed when he was almost 4 with EOE, Eosinophilic Esophagitis. In short, his immune system (eosinophils, white blood cells) attacks his body when he has food proteins that his body doesn't like. He is on a restricted diet, many many medications, and has other co-morbid diseases that effect his daily life. He is in a multiple week long asthma attack with no relief. He goes outside and his body starts to react. His ear drums have been reconstructed using cartilage from the outside of his ears. He has damage in his small intestine from the eosinophils attacking whatever food proteins they deem to be the enemy. This is all because of EOE. There is no cure for Eosinophilic Diseases, none, so CURED is raising money. All donations go to research to find a cure for these diseases so our kids can finally have some relief.
