Protect the Redwoods, Together!

Redwood Parks Conservancy has been a guardian of northern California’s natural redwoods and public lands since 2011. In partnership with the National Park Service, California State Parks, Bureau of Land Management, and the U.S. Forest Service, we provide critical support for the conservation projects, educational programs, and visitor experiences that help safeguard these irreplaceable natural treasures. 

The unique biome of Redwood National and State Parks is found nowhere else on Earth. Less than 5% of old-growth redwoods remain, and these ancient forests—home to thousands of species and a powerhouse for carbon storage—need our protection now more than ever. Your gift directly contributes to the preservation and enjoyment of these cherished landscapes. This year, we’re focusing support on four essential initiatives:

1)  Interpretation & Education Programs:  Inspire visitors of all ages to connect with the redwoods and the natural world.

2)  Junior Lifeguards & Aquatics Safety Program:  Equip local youth with life-saving skills and confidence in Northern California waters.

3)  Grove of Titans Stewardship:  Enhance visitor experiences while protecting ancient giants and forest trails.

4)  Redwood Forest Protection & Restoration:  Restore ecosystems and preserve old-growth forests for future generations.
