Help us Help Kids in Honduras

Jacobo and I work together daily in the operating room to help children with bone and joint injuries or deformities.  

As a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, I have been blessed to work with Operation Rainbow on trips to provide surgical care to children in Central and South America. Families travel days to have us care for their children, and without these trips, the children have no way to have their complex problems fixed.

This September, I have the honor of bringing Jacobo with me, and together we will directly change the bodies, and the lives of children who otherwise would not ever be able to have needed surgeries.

We will reconstruct dislocated hips in babies, preventing a life of hip pain, allowing children to play and grow into adults that can work and live well without daily pain.

We will fix deformities in children and teenagers who have endured fractures that have healed wrong and have crooked limbs.

With Jacobo at my side, we can work more efficiently and provide even better results to these children.  He is an incredibly skilled partner in the OR, remarkably dedicated at a young 23 years of age.
