Our Beautiful Community Has Funded 60 Grants of $1,200 Per Person Through July 2026
In 2026, the Renter Support Fund received over $300,000 from across the world. To allocate these funds directly and promptly to our neighbors in need, we are thrilled to announce that our new expansion is effective immediately. We are committed to providing direct aid to 57 renters of up to $1200 per individual each month.
To maintain the expansion and meet the current urgent needs of our community, we have upped our fundraising goal to $750,000 by July 2026.
The Renter Support Fund is committed to providing relief to cost-burdened Minneapolis renters through low-barrier cash assistance. In the wake of Operation Metro Surge, the need for support has skyrocketed, and our community needs your support now more than ever before. Over 725 households and 575 children have been supported through this program.
Applications open on the second Wednesday of each month and close the following Saturday at 12 pm.

I had fallen behind on my rent and was feeling overwhelmed and unsure about what to do. When I reached out to [PPNA], they treated me with compassion, respect, and understanding. They truly listened to my situation and took the time to hear me out instead of making me feel judged. Their team helped me by assisting with my past-due rent and even communicating with my landlord on my behalf. That support made a huge difference for me and helped relieve a lot of stress during a very challenging moment.
