Seven tiny lives hang in the balance—8-week-old puppies surrendered to a rural VA shelter by an owner who could no longer care for them. They are scared, confused, and too young to understand why their world has turned upside down. The shelter is a scary place for adult dogs, but downright terrifying for babies. Not only is it loud and cold, the puppies are at constant risk of sicknesses.
