Help Save Sputnik!

Sputnik is a 3.5 year old heeler mix with kind eyes and a gentle soul, found wandering alone in rural southern Virginia. He was luckily found and brought to an overcrowded shelter before something bad happened. Sputnik waits quietly behind shelter bars, confused and heartbroken, not understanding how he ended up here or why no one cares. His time is running out. Homeward Trails wants to save him and give him a second chance, but they can’t do it without help. Donations are urgently needed to cover his rescue and transport. Without them, Sputnik may never know what it means to be safe, loved, and home.
