COVID-19 Dance Scholarship Fundraiser

During these unprecedented and trying times, our dance foundation endeavors to continually provide scholarship funding to deserving dancers and their families who are undergoing financial hardship, so that they may continue with their dance education, performance opportunities, as well as to sustain the arts industries that need funding to keep educating, so that there is a physical dance studio maintained to house our academic training, educators who are continually able to provide instructional services, and performance opportunities to offer!!

Join us in supporting a nonprofit that supports dancers! COVID-19 and the resulting shelter in place has severely shaken our community. Many families have limited income to support and feed their families, let alone pay for classes their children have been attending prior to this pandemic. San Benito Dance Foundation is a nonprofit organization that has been developed to provide dance scholarships for dancers of San Benito Dance Academy. It is the hope to be able to keep all dancers involved and receiving instruction (however it may be, through methods of virtual or modified in-person learning). These lessons are so important to give our families a sense of normalcy in these anything-but-normal circumstances.  Dance classes keep students connected, active, strong, and gives an outlet during their isolation.  Through the generosity of our community we have been able to offer some dancers scholarships on a limited basis, but we anticipate more need for the future. Please help us keep all of our dancers actively engaged in dance during this crisis, and also support a local business with tuition income so that there is a dance studio to return to when this is all over.
