Raising Funds for the Amazing Seattle Good

I have had the honor and joy of supporting and serving on this board for several years now, and I can tell you firsthand that they do incredible work to build, enhance and grow a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable local economy.  I am continually blown away by the time, care and intention they take to produce innovative and creative programing that really builds community and connects us all. 

Programs like Seattle Made that uplifts Seattle producers and manufactures keeping a diverse ecosystem that expands opportunities for local ownership, meaningful employment, long-term resiliency, and celebrates Seattle’s unique cultural identity. 

Or the Good Food Economy - that connects the Puget Sound food community to strengthen the local food pipeline and build a resilient, sustainable, and just local food economy.

Or Circular Economy programming, working to strengthen interagency collaboration and de-silo efforts across the region to help build closed-loop systems and material supply chains. 

and sooo much more... 

This small but mighty team needs ongoing to support continue their dedicated work for true impact that reaches the very fabric of our communities.   The things they are committed to in 2025: 

• Deepening commitments businesses who share a mission to build an economy that serves the community by being great stewards of people and place; 
• Finding and deepening relationships in support of our Good Food Kitchens, Climate Action Intern, Seattle Restored, Seattle Made, and NW Sewn initiatives (and more!) 
• Expanding their footprint to serve more of Washington state - through existing programs like Eat Local First and PreCycle Materials Exchange, and soon through the Washington Good Business Network, connecting more values-based businesses statewide 

I humbly ask that you consider making a significant donation to Seattle Good so that it can continue to work with the amazing Seattle business community to develop a sustainable economy that includes everyone.  With the ability to take this to the State level, we can all benefit by helping fortify this organization so that it can continue to grow and serve.   

When you check out Seattle Good’s website, I would like you to keep in mind that all of this work has been done with about 10 paid employees.  Your generous donation will allow the staff to grow and make Seattle Good’s compensation packages on par with the other companies and governmental entities doing this work in Washington.

My goal is to raise $10,000 for Seattle Good before the end of the year.  I hope you will join me in supporting this amazing organization.
