Thunder Funder

For 30 illustrious years, Thunder has served as a shining ambassador of her species, uplifting veterans, families and children alike. Residing at Moccasin Lake Raptor Sanctuary and backed by Tampa Bay Raptor Rescue, Thunder's recent veterinary visit has shown the need of specialized care from an avian ophthalmologist. Thunder was shot in the right side of her head as an eaglet rendering her partially sighted.  Her left eye has developed a cataract which needs to be removed to ensure her a bright future.
