Greta has a massively infected face that needs emergency vetting.It's cold. And rainy. And foggy. And animals in Galax & the surrounding areas are desperately, heart-breakingly needing our help.
Infections, injuries, young and old - they are here and we are their only hope.
Our amazing Trails UP team is in the field for our final Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return event of 2024 with our amazing partners at the Twin County Humane Society.
We are also in the field taking dogs off chains and so that they can avoid going to the crowded local shelter.
We are also delivering warming cat houses for our outdoor friends to stay warm and dry all winter. This will be lifesaving to so many animals who deserve it. AND we brought more than 500 lbs. of food & supplies to feed animals in the community whose owners are struggling to feed them during hard times.
We are helping more than 115 cats, 10 dogs and dozens of community members this final trip of 2024.
