Expanding Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano

The $323 million-dollar new tower and campus renovation will enable Texas Health Plano to provide expanded expert medical care and advanced treatment to patients who live in Plano and the surrounding communities. The project will include an eight-story tower construction with seven patient floors (including 168 additional beds), and an expanded Emergency Department for trauma and other emergency needs for our community. 

 Several key areas of patient treatment will be expanded, including Neuroscience, Heart and Vascular, and Digestive Health. In addition, Texas Health Plano will invest in and enhance its Graduate Medical Education (GME) program. In 2024, Texas Health Plano welcomed its first internal medical residents, many of whom are local men and women who graduated from Plano high schools. By growing the GME program at Texas Health Plano, our hope is that these physicians remain with Texas Health and in the community as we increase and enhance care for our patients.
