Still Here, Still Queer: YAC Fundraiser

Affirmations’ Youth Advisory Council consists of 8 youth who have been active participants in our youth programming and exhibit strong leadership skills. Youth council members provide feedback, initiate events, and contribute to the vision of existing and future programming. With their leadership, Affirmations has increased its efforts in providing exciting programs and events for Queer and Trans BIPOC youth, those seeking to explore their identities, and those seeking rest and community. 

YAC is home to transformative ideas that pushes Affirmations to be more youth driven and  intune to the pulse of the community. In only its 2nd year of existence, YAC is setting the tone for greater impact and mobilizing their peers toward positive community change. By thriving in times of great turmoil, YAC stands proud to say that they and their peers are “Still Here, Still Queer.”
