My story with Partners For Pets: 

My journey with Partners For Pets started about 11 years ago when I was in high school and serving as the president of my school’s Animal Rescue Club. Our club focused on volunteering in the community, helping local shelters, and spreading awareness about animal welfare to students and younger generations.

Through the club, we began volunteering with Partners For Pets, and that’s where everything really took off. I met some of the most amazing people, learned so much about rescue work, and created memories that truly shaped my passion for helping animals. Even better, Animal Rescue Club is still thriving today!

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have loved animals since I was a child, and helping them has always felt like my purpose. Over the years I’ve really dedicated my life to rescuing, advocating for, and caring for animals who need someone in their corner.

That passion eventually led me to where I am now. Since 2023, I’ve been proud to work at Partners For Pets, helping care for animals every day. One of the most rewarding parts of rescue for me has been fostering animals in need. I’ve welcomed many foster pets into my home! I especially have a soft spot for medical and special needs animals. Some of my favorite fosters have been cats who need eye enucleation surgery or who live with disabilities. These animals are often overlooked, but they are some of the most loving, resilient, and inspiring pets you could ever meet. Being able to help them heal, grow stronger, and find loving homes is one of the most meaningful parts of rescue work for me.

Needless to say, animal welfare and rescue have become a huge part of my life and something I care deeply about.

This is my third year participating in the Partners For Pets Slumber Pawty, and I couldn’t be more excited. This event is so much fun, but it’s also incredibly important when it comes to raising funds for the shelter and the animals who rely on it every single day.

Any and all donations are appreciated so much, and all donations go directly to Partners For Pets to help provide care, medical treatment, food, and shelter for the animals.
