Only 12 Weeks Old and Already Left Behind

At just 12 weeks old, these three Bernedoodle puppies have already learned what happens when breeding creates more lives than there are homes waiting for them. They were born into a litter of 11 in southern Virginia, but when the breeder couldn’t find homes for every puppy, these three were surrendered to an overcrowded rural shelters. They are babies. They should be tumbling around a family’s living room, falling asleep in someone’s arms and learning what it feels like to be loved, not sitting in a shelter because they were the ones left over. Homeward Trails can’t leave them behind. We want to bring all three to safety, get them the veterinary care they need, and give them the chance at the lives they should have had from the beginning. But rescuing them comes at a cost, and we desperately need sponsors and donations to make it possible.
