Help Turn Lucky's Luck Around

We received a call for help from a caregiver - a cat showed up on her porch is bad shape. Underweight, limping, missing fur - it seemed like Lucky's luck may have run out. Not knowing where else to turn, she reached out to our Homeward Trails Danville program. We stepped up to get Lucky to the vet. He has been diagnosed with pillow foot - a very painful condition that causes the paw pad to become swollen and ulcerated. In addition, Lucky was covered in fleas, covered in wounds - likely from scratching due to intense itching, and matted. We don't know how long he'd been suffering on his own, but now his luck is going to turn around. We're committed to getting Lucky the care he needs to get healthy and back on his feet and into a foster home for his recovery. Lucky has a lot going on so this is a big undertaking, but he deserves it.
