Lila, was so nervous to start school. She’s bright and curious, but she struggled with confidence, especially around other kids. When I heard about KinderCamp, I signed her up hoping it would help her feel ready for kindergarten.
What happened over those few weeks was more than I ever expected.
Every day, Lila came home excited to show me something new — a book she got to keep, a math game she learned, or a story about a new friend she made. Her teacher, Ms. Ramirez, told me she was asking questions, solving problems, and even helping other kids who were shy on the first day.
The healthy lunches, the Kids Farmer’s Market, the hands‑on activities — all of it made her feel safe, supported, and proud of herself.
By the end of the program, she wasn’t just ready for kindergarten. She was eager for it.
