At Escape the Shape, we prepare high school boys from underrepresented communities in the D.C. area to lead with confidence, think globally, and give back locally. Our six-month program blends mentorship, academic enrichment, leadership development, and a life-changing international service-learning trip.

Travel gives students the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and expand their worldviews and perspectives.

For many of our scholars, this is their first time leaving the country—or even owning a passport. Through these experiences, they discover their power, purpose, and potential to change the world.
