Auntie jLow to keep Camp Starlight shining!

Each year, Camp Starlight provides a one-of-a-kind summer camp experience for 50 children affected by HIV/AIDS and the stigma against the LGBTQIA+ community.  We have arts & crafts, music, swimming, science, drama, archery, rock climbing, sports, and more. Volunteering at camp is one of the most important things I do!   Reach for the stars is our main fundraiser for the year.  Donations are tax deductible. Founded in 1999 by a small group of volunteers, Camp Starlight has served hundreds of families over the years. Our weeklong camp remains volunteer-run, and our costs are covered entirely by donations. The Camp Starlight volunteer corps includes mental health and medical teams, as well as trained volunteers who lead activities and serve as cabin counselors. There is no cost to families, and we supply campers’ needs for the week and beyond, such as clothing, shoes, towels and bedding. All campers go home with a backpack full of school supplies for the coming year.  

Because camp is 100% volunteer-run and the organization exists solely to put on this one week of camp per year, our costs are very low, and your donation goes to making the best camp experience possible.
