Lollipop is Too Sweet to be Left Behind

Lollipop is just one year old. A tiny poodle who should be curled up on someone’s couch, safe and warm, instead she is sitting alone in a cage at a rural shelter in southern Virginia. We don’t know why her family surrendered her. We only know that she went from having a home to staring through metal bars overnight. Her coat is likely matted and every movement uncomfortable, her little body in need of grooming, kind hands, and patience. She doesn’t understand what she did wrong. She only knows that everything familiar is gone. Homeward Trails wants to step in, to get her the medical care, grooming, and love she so clearly needs. But without donations and sponsors, we can’t guarantee her a spot on the next transport out. Please help us bring Lollipop back to safety before her time runs out.
