Can Stuffing Be Saved Before It is Too Late?

Stuffing is a handsome 3 year old Lab mix who was found wandering rural Virginia with a small group of strays, all of them hungry, confused, and getting into trouble chasing whatever they could just to survive. A kind person finally brought him to a rural shelter, but shelters like this rarely see adoptions, and dogs like Stuffing are usually the first to be forgotten. He waits in a noisy kennel with no real chance of anyone walking through the door for him. Homeward Trails wants to pull him to safety and bring him to the DC area, where he might finally find a home, but they can’t do it without donations. Without help, Stuffing’s chances at a real life slip away a little more each day.
