Zuko's Future Depends on Us

Zuko is a handsome 3 year old Lab mix from southern Virginia whose life turned upside down when his owner ran into legal trouble and the family surrendered him to one of our partner shelters. Once loved and part of a home, Zuko now spends his days behind cold metal bars, confused and heartbroken, wondering why no one wants him. The shelter has very low adoption rates, and so far, not a single person has shown him interest. His spirit is fading as he waits, depressed and lonely, for someone to give him another chance. Homeward Trails knows Zuko could thrive again in a loving home, but without donations for his veterinary care and transport, he may never get the chance. Please help us rescue Zuko from a life of sadness and give him the family life he so desperately misses.
