Selena and Her Babies Deserve Nothing But the Best

Selena's story could have ended so differently. This sweet 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer mix arrived at an overcrowded rural Georgia shelter as a stray, carrying eight precious lives and with nowhere safe to have them. There was no room for a frightened, pregnant dog, and no promise that she or her puppies would get the chance they deserved. Thanks to rescue partners and Homeward Trails, Selena made it to safety just in time, holding on until she could finally give birth in the warmth and comfort of a loving foster home instead of a cold shelter kennel. Now this beautiful mama is caring for eight hungry newborns who depend on her for everything, and she depends on us.
