Solace Hospice Charity Bake Sale

A year ago, Solace Hospice of Southwest Virginia existed only as a dream, a lot of paperwork, and more faith than common sense. 😊

Over the past year, with the help of an incredible group of supporters, volunteers, board members, staff, family, and friends, that dream has become a reality. We opened an office, built a team, completed Virginia's licensure process, and received our state hospice license.

Today, we find ourselves in an unexpected position. Although we are licensed and ready to serve, the nationwide Medicare enrollment moratorium has delayed our ability to begin caring for patients and generating revenue. Like many small nonprofits, we still have bills to pay while we wait.

That's why we're holding this bake sale.

Every loaf of bread, cookie, brownie, cupcake, and sweet treat purchased helps us continue moving forward and remain ready to serve the families of Southwest Virginia when the time comes.
