🐾 HELP NEEDED FOR A LARGE CAT COLONY IN SANDPOINT 🐾

I have been informed of a large colony of cats and kittens in the city of Sandpoint — upwards of 30 cats, all of which are not fixed. We have taken on the pleasure of trapping these cats, getting them spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and then sadly having to re-release them back into the same area.

📅 Our rescue and trapping efforts begin July 14 and will continue throughout the end of the summer as we work to help as many cats and kittens as possible.

🔴 This process is very time-consuming and expensive, and I’m reaching out to our community for help.

🔹 Donate bags of cat food to help offset the expense of feeding this large colony

💲 The spay/neuter cost is ONLY $30 per cat, but with potentially 30+ cats, those costs add up quickly.

⚠️ I have been told that the area where these cats currently live consists of a very old dilapidated barn, house, and trailer that have been there since the beginning of time. The project to demolish these outbuildings and clear the approximately four-acre property is scheduled to begin for the construction of townhomes. My biggest concern is getting as many of these cats spayed and neutered as possible before demolition begins so we can stop the cycle of reproduction and give these cats the best chance possible.
