This October, the U.S. Navy marks its 250th birthday. For the USS Arizona Legacy Foundation, this milestone is more than a date on the calendar, it is a call to honor the past, stand beside today’s sailors, and inspire the next generation.

The USS Arizona battleship, lost at Pearl Harbor, remains a powerful symbol of courage and sacrifice. Now, a new chapter is being written with the commissioning of the future USS Arizona (SSN-803), a Virginia-class submarine that will carry that name into the depths.

We’re working to raise $25,000 to support the sailors who will serve aboard her and to bring the story of the USS Arizona into Arizona classrooms through an engaging new 7th-grade curriculum.
