The Community Canvas Raffle

A canvas shaped by community. A piece that continues to evolve.

Paint Your Perspective began at MTAZAMO, an immersive gallery experience inspired by Kenya, with our CEO and founder spotlighting one of is passion projects as a collaborative art activation created in partnership with Canvas & Coffee.

At the center of the canvas is a Baobab tree. The piece began as a drawing by Grace Earnhart intentionally leaving room for the community to help bring it to life.

From September 25 through November 1, guests visiting Canvas & Coffee are invited to pick up a brush, choose a color, and leave their mark. With every new brushstroke, another perspective becomes part of the artwork, meaning the piece you bid on today may look a little different tomorrow.

$5 = 1 ENTRY

While the painting continues to evolve, the raffle will remain open for the opportunity to take home the completed, one-of-one community art piece. On November 1st, the final winner will be selected, closing one chapter of the canvas and beginning another.

But the impact of this piece goes far beyond the canvas.

100% of funds raised through the auction will support The Humble Hustle Company's youth programming and future opportunities, including:

Ignite Your Purpose & Fuel Your Future, our boys' and girls' conferences designed to introduce youth throughout the Roanoke Valley and surrounding communities to the many pathways available to them after high school. Through hands-on, interactive experiences, networking with leaders and resources in different industries, and explore opportunities across STEM, trades, business, arts & culture, and more, while gaining exposure and tools to begin thinking intentionally about their futures.

Funds will also support Humble Futures, a new scholarship initiative created to continue walking alongside youth who have participated in our programs as they take their next steps after high school. Whether their path leads to college, a trade, professional certifications, or another form of continued education and training, Humble Futures will help provide financial support as they move into their next chapter.

In many ways, that's what Paint Your Perspective represents: there isn't only one path, one perspective, or one way forward. Every brushstroke contributes something different to the finished piece, just as every young person deserves the opportunity to discover and pursue the future that's right for them.

When you bid, you're not only bidding to take home a piece of art created by our community. You're helping create more pathways for the young people growing up in it.

Created by many. Taken home by one. Giving back to the community that made it.
