We have received the heartbreaking update that one of these 9 pups is missing and presumed to be killed by a coyote.
Last week our fosters stepped up and we were able to get 4 of these pups out but the 4 remaining still DESPERATELY need us! Please, help us get these pups to HT THIS WEEK before they are given away or share the fate of their poor departed sister.
In rural Virginia, an unaltered female dog was found as a stray. While kind people found and cared for her, they did not get her spayed and inevitably, she ended up with a litter of NINE pups. A local rescuer has stepped up to get mama spayed so that there are no more unplanned litters, but she desperately needs OUR help to find loving homes for these 3 month old pups. We need to get these pups to Homeward Trails ASAP before they are given away or end up at their overcrowded local shelter. Can you help us ensure their future?
