Our family has sponsored a cheer bus in memory of our daughter/sister, Cassandra, for the past few years. In addition to sponsoring a bus, we fulfill some of the wishes for the families on our route, and John, Eleanore, and John IV go on a cheer bus to deliver the wishes and cheer. We are honored to participate in this event in memory of Cassandra, who was a co-founder and champion of Kids Need M❤️RE prior to her passing.
For the past two weekends, we have been at the Kids Need M❤️RE headquarters sorting donations and packing gift bags in preparation for the Cheer Bus Run on December 20. Sadly, donations are a bit down this year, and not all wishes could be fulfilled. In particular, items for teens aged 15-18 are very scarce. We are hoping that a last-minute push can turn things around.
