This is our 10th year doing our Servathon, a community outreach event of enormous scale, when CLS students provide over 1,000 Acts of Service—including meals, volunteer hours, and handmade gifts to numerous non-profits and those in public safety—in one day!
Our class will make Toiletry Kits to deliver to women and children at Helping Hands Shelter, a local emergency shelter that provides meals, a home, and counseling for up to 24 women and children each day, year-round. We'll also make Welcome Home Kits to deliver to families previously experiencing homelessness and now being served through Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit that provides free home repairs and accessibility modifications to our neighbors in need in Montgomery County.
Our Senior Class will then deliver these items to these non-profits the same day! See the video below for an overview of what our school did last year! Please give generously to this important cause!
