This year, the Keogh Family is focusing our holiday fundraising efforts on Kids Need More and their Holiday Cheer Bus. Kids Need More was started in 1990 by a group of parents intent on enhancing the lives of their children, all of whom were diagnosed with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
For families stressed with medical visits, painful treatments and financial burdens, taking part in holiday festivities can be overwhelming. Each year during the holidays, Kids Need More hosts their annual Holiday Cheer Bus Elf Ride. The event will make the season brighter for over 400 local children coping with serious illness and trauma by delivering joy directly to their doorstep. Through at home candy cane scavenger hunts, “Hot Cocoa Emergency” drop offs and hand delivering gifts, the Elves of Kids Need More act as a 24/7 support system for their recipient families all throughout the Holiday Season. All distributions will be done in a COVID-compliant manner because, unfortunately, many of the children that benefit from Kids Need More have been social distancing long before 2020.
Our collective donations will go towards sponsoring Elves, collecting gifts and securing Cheer Buses for gift distribution. Any and all donations (which are 100% tax deductible) are of major significance to our friends at Kids Need More and we ask that all donations be made no later than December 19th.
