Clark students will be participating in our annual READ-A-THON from 10/10 through 10/21. This year we have bonus incentives for participants! If a student reads 100 minutes in the first week, they will earn a free book coupon at the book fair (up to $13). The first 100 minutes are due by 10/14. The two students who raise the most money will earn a popsicle party for their entire class! Classrooms will compete to see which class can read the most minutes. The top classes in each grade will win a popcorn party! More details are being sent home with your students.

READ-A-THON is one of our biggest PTA fundraisers of the year. One of the best advantages of READ-A-THON is it allows all money collected to stay at Clark! It also provides a great tax deduction incentive for donors.

PTA support is critical for Clark educational programs!

Donations to the Clark PTA are necessary to fund key curriculum-related initiatives and improve every student’s educational experience. The Clark PTA is committed to bringing fun, exciting, and high-quality educational programs and opportunities to our school. 

Our READ-A-THON goal is $10,000. Some of the ways this money is used are:

· Academic grants directly to Clark teachers & staff for supplemental classroom materials, supplies and experiences

· School-wide assemblies, author visit, new library books, and staff appreciation

· ART! Did you know that Clark PTA funds 100% of our school's art program? PTA currently provides the materials, and our volunteer art docent program helps coordinate all materials and projects school wide.
