Kecia suffered an unfortunate medical catastrophe at the age of 45 that left her bedbound, unable to speak, and without stable housing. We first met Kecia in 2018. Since that time, PSN has helped Kecia increase her mobility, obtain an electric wheelchair, regain her speech, and move to an assisted living facility.
Today, Kecia participates in activities with friends both inside and outside of her assisted living community, is involved in a local church, and has a full functional vocabulary. She continues to work with physical, occupational, and speech therapy and continues to regain more independence.
Donations made to Kecia will go towards providing transportation, phone and internet services, clothing, toiletries, and covering incidental expenses.
