And now, some incredible news about our future...
We're thrilled to announce the Endowment for Lifelong Learners at Blue Mountain School! Thanks to generous donations from a Blue Mountain School alumnus and a partnership with the Community Foundation of the New River Valley, we now have a $1.75 million permanent endowment that will provide approximately $93,000 annually starting in 2026. This endowment relieves pressure on our future sustainability, but it doesn't replace our current fundraising needs. We will always need strong community support to keep Blue Mountain School accessible and thriving. We’re incredibly grateful, and at the same time we know that we still have more work to do. To meet the scholarship needs of our community, each year we’ll still need to raise an additional fifty to sixty thousand dollars just to break even. That’s where YOU come in, every dollar that’s added to our endowment grows, getting Blue Mountain closer to financial sustainability.
