Our Board is Raising for Darkness RISING Project
As members of the Darkness RISING Project Board of Directors, we believe deeply in the power of accessible, culturally responsive mental health care and in the communities this organization serves.
This year, critical funding that once supported this work has disappeared, while the need for free mental health services has not. Darkness RISING Project continues to provide free therapy and mental health support to Black and formerly incarcerated communities, but we need our community alongside us to keep this work moving forward.
That’s why each member of our Board has committed to raising $1,000 by September 15.
Every gift made through this campaign helps fund therapy for justice-involved people of color while supporting the essential costs that allow Darkness RISING Project to continue showing up for our communities.
