                         Bags of Hope conducts Key to Hope

For the 5th year the Community Food Pantry has sponsored the Key to Hope experience at Village Presbyterian Church. 180 participants representing 26 clubs from a dozen local high schools along with local Kiwanis dignitaries packed 3,200 toiletry bags in about two hours' time. 9 Bags of Hope student interns prepared for and helped guide the process during the event.

On February 21st, the Community Food Pantry held its annual Gala -- Cowboys at the Country Club -- and had a great time with a cornhole tournament, bbq dinner, drinks and a silent auction.  Thanks to our generous sponsors and auction winners we were able to raise more than $50,000 to help us sustain our mission in the coming months! 

Pictured below is our Director, Monica Wilson, introducing Rhonda Gindlesperger, the Operations Manager for Feeding Tampa Bay.  

Please consider a monetary donation so that we may continue to meet the need of those seniors, children and families trying to make ends meet. 

If you would like to donate non-perishable, unexpired grocery items, you may drop them by Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm, or anytime in the donation bins behind the fence on the east side of the building next to Village Presbyterian Church (blue roof) at 13115 S. Village Drive, Tampa FL 33618.
