Community Food Pantry

                         DECEMBER 2025 UPDATE

The Community Food Pantry experienced a spike in the number of families looking for food supplementation during the government shutdown in November. 

Please consider a monetary donation so that we may continue to meet the need of those seniors, children and families trying to make ends meet. 

If you would like to donate non-perishable, unexpired grocery items, you may drop them by Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm, or anytime in the donation bins behind the fence on the east side of the building next to Village Presbyterian Church (blue roof) at 13115 S. Village Drive, Tampa FL 33618.

Throughout November we made "Everything But the Turkey" non-perishable grocery bags to hand out to every family in need -- these bags include a selection of menu items that can be used to spruce up a holiday table, such as potatoes or stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce or gravy, dessert items, a shelf stable meal and other goodies. Thanks to local schools, businesses and individuals, we have received many generous food donations to pass along to the community.  Over 30 local food drives has sustained our ability to share with all that come to our doors.  Many guests received a turkey or ham as well!

As we roll into December and some of the busiest days at the pantry, we humbly ask for your support.  If you give $25 or generously give $5000, we thank you!
