We need your help to provide hygiene bags to youth who are transitioning out of incarceration.

$5,000 goal

This holiday season, a mere $50 supplies our justice-involved young people with personal hygiene care packages with soap, deodorant, toothpaste, socks, a hat, shampoo, body wash, and female feminine products. Can you help us?

As incarcerated youth transition back into the community and attend schools, work in internships and volunteer programs, and snag opportunities to explore their best financial pathways, Your Money Matters Mentoring recognizes a need: hygiene products.

Some youth in our program have a court-ordered obligation to pay restitution and fines. Others come from very low-income households who are unable to afford hygiene products on a regular basis. While often not thought of during holiday drives, hygiene items are often the first to be cut by families who are struggling.

To succeed, youth need these hygiene products for career interviews, first-time jobs, volunteer projects, and school attendance. These items provide confidence and self-esteem for young people who are in a vulnerable position. An interview, an aced test, a promotion-- can change a life, but we need your help.

About Us

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to financial success of young people.

The Your Money Matters program provides intensive one-on-one and/or group mentoring for economically vulnerable, low-income, young people. We provide the help they need to participate in their financial health and establish positive financial safety nets, habits, and practices.

We support them in their efforts to build and protect their assets for themselves and their families, which will have tremendous implications on their lives, and the lives of their current or future children.
