Helping Chimps by Helping People

This Giving Tuesday, we're making a special push to help more students at the Bulindi Project and to reoutfit the Ngamba Island Sanctuary caregivers. 

And generous sponsors are matching the first $2500 in donations!

a) Bulindi Chimpanzee & Community Project - The Bulindi Project helps farmers cover their children's school fees. In return, the farmers agree not to harvest their forests. The forests regenerate, helping chimps and protecting watershed.  It's a win for all. So help us save more critical forest and send a student to school Just $50 sponsors a child in primary school for a year!  

b) Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary - The Sanctuary is home to 50+ chimpanzees rescued from the illegal pet and bushmeat trade, and if you've ever visited, you know what an amazing team of dedicated caregivers provide their care.  Friends of Chimps is dedicated to supporting the care team's amazing work, and your Giving Tuesday donation will buy new gear for the year ahead!

Your donation goes a very long way because we are a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization and we support two exemplary projects in Uganda.
